Last week, I had you take inventory of how you spent your days. Today we’re going to look at some of the “USELESS” time we find ourselves with.
You know, sitting in the waiting room of a Dr office, waiting for a prescription, sitting in the car waiting on your child(ren) to come out of their activity, on hold with the insurance company etc…
These moments are times when we can accomplish some of the little things in our “to-do” piles. For example, I use waiting in the car to catch up on reading magazine articles or writing emails (from my smart phone). I use the “on-hold” time to clean out a random drawer near the phone. (I’m often amazed by the “stuff” under the silverware in the drawer dividers, EWWW)
Today’s challenge, is to make yourself a list of things that you can accomplish in less than 5 minutes. Just write them all down. After you’ve dumped your mind of all these little chores, make a category list of where you can accomplish them. (IE… Car, Home, Dr Office)
Keep these lists in their appropriate area, so you have them available to work from when you find yourself with this extra time.
Till next time.
Happiness & Joy,
